Leadership: The Law of Momentum

In order to change direction, you must create forward momentum.

It takes a leader to gets things started.

Leadership: The Law of Victory

Anything less than success is unacceptable.

Go after victory with every tool at your disposal.

Good leaders find a way to win.

Don't focus on being right, focus on winning.

Victory is your only option.

There are 3 components of Victory:

1) Unity of Vision - Teams succeed when they share a vision.
2) Diversity of Skills
3) A leader dedicated to Victory and towards raising team members to their potential.

Leadership: The Law of the Buy-In

If people are to "buy-in" to the vision, they must first buy in to the leader.

If they have a vision, but don't buy the leader, they get a new leader.

When you are a new leader, you sometimes have to buy time so that once people buy in to you, you can then sell your vision.

Leadership: The Law of Reproduction

Leaders reproduce more leaders.

In order to win, you have to make the other guy win.

|

A) Those who raise themselves up.
B) Those who raise morale.
C) Those who raise up the leader.
D) Those who recognize the potential of others.
E) Those who create new leaders.
